Educational Support Project

Momentum

Session for young people that are home educated or facing barriers with their education. These small group sessions offer a supportive, structured environment where young people can develop confidence, build life skills, and reconnect with learning in a way that works for them.

Led by experienced youth workers, the project combines creative, practical, and active experiences to promote personal growth and teamwork. Our team works closely with each young person to help overcome educational challenges and feel more positive about their future.

Details

  • Weekly sessions during term time, within school hours

  • ​​Timings and days may vary based on different trips and activities.

  • ​Sessions for invited participants (11-19 years old)

How to refer someone?

To attend the Momentum Project a referral must be made from your education setting, GP or a self referral can be made by parents/carers.

Getting Active

A big focus of the Momentum Project over the last two years has been about getting physically active. Not just for fitness, but to boost confidence, support mental wellbeing, build resilience, and create positive shared experiences.


Our sessions have included: boxing, bouldering, swimming lessons, strength & conditioning, rope climbing, cycling and more…
